Control panel

Control panel THS

The THS control panel is designed to power, protect and control the operation of submersible slurry pumps used in PRESSKAN® pressure sewerage.

Parts of the control panel are the main switch, or residual-current device, contactor, motor starter protecting the pump motor from overloading and the level monitor, which together with the electrode level sensor controls the pump operation. The level monitor includes an optical signaling of operating states. The electrode level sensor ensures pump control within the range of set levels and protects it against dry running. The standard electrode distance for sensing the switch-on and switch-off level is 12 cm. This distance can be adjusted upon customer request. The control panel can be supplemented with an operating hours counter, acoustic signaling, remote transmission of operating states or remote control via a superior system.

The control panels are available in versions according to the supply voltage (400 V or 230 V) and in versions allowing control of one or several connected pumps. It is possible to place the control panels on the walls of buildings, fencing pillars or separate stands. The control panel cover doesn’t require additional roofing. The THS control panels are certified by TÜV SÜD Czech s.r.o.

Level sensing is done by an electrode sensor with three stainless steel tips (switch-on level, switch-off level, protection against dry running). The switch-on electrode also functions as an emergency one, if it doesn’t emerge within a specified time after the pump is switched on. The electrode sensing is more accurate, with the possibility of adjusting the pumping cycle as required, which also allows for a low residual amount of water in the lift station. Electrode sensing is more reliable than float sensors.
